Freckles were once perceived as a bane and were quickly covered with make-up on some of the upmost gorgeous girls. When the 60's arrived the modelling industry saw a bigger shift towards the exploitation of the model that harboured a naturally, beautiful image. Fast forward to the present and long gone are the days where the image of freckles is only associated with the fair, plae skinned red haired women. 

With Models like Adwoa Aboah and Kara Gall embracing freckles has been nothing but a showcase of effortless uniqueness and desireable beauty with casting directors and clients alike valuing a sprinkle of freckles.

With beauty brands such as Lancome supplying a 'freckle pen' we can't help but notice that this trend and natural facial characteristic is taking society by storm.
